Day 6

Last night wasn't so bad. She slept well until her 3 am feeding, and then stayed up after that. We count that as a success. Well, she stayed up until 6ish, then went back to sleep. Daddy, however, drank too much coffee and couldn't sleep.

We got lots of things for the baby today while Lauren stayed home alone with her and did well. There are balloons and a baby announcement on the front porch. We'll have to get pictures of that later. This was the last day to really go out and do stuff because Bill and Linda are leaving us tomorrow, unfortunately. How are we going to be able to take our 4 hour naps now?

Bill has a way with the beasts. Jack (the dog) seems to have adjusted well to the baby. But, we're scared that he's going to realize the baby is here to stay when Linda and Bill leave.

If I had only buttoned my shirt, this one would be for the ages. Someone who knows Photoshop can button it for me, right?

Lucey dog and Jack dog like each other a lot. I think Jack has a crush on her. Lucey dog is pretty aloof about it.

Lucy baby with the magic pacifier. She sucked on it for over 1 hour this morning before finally falling asleep. The creepy looking hand at the bottom of the picture is me holding down a flap so it doesn't get in the picture. Looks scary though.
